Born in Tehran, Iran

Nazli Maleki is a painter and multidisciplinary artist based in Iran, whose practice extends across painting, design, stage art, concept development, and visual storytelling.

She holds a Master’s degree in Painting from Tarbiat Modares University, awarded in 2025, and a Bachelor’s degree in Painting from the Faculty of Art and Architecture, Islamic Azad University.

Her artistic career encompasses painting, drawing, cartoon, stage design, concept art, costume design, and visual development for theater, cinema, and television. Alongside her independent artistic practice, she has collaborated on numerous theatrical and audiovisual productions, developing visual concepts and creating painted environments, stage elements, costumes, masks, posters, and storyboards.

Her work has been presented through solo and group exhibitions in Iran, Dubai, and Vancouver, reflecting an ongoing engagement with diverse forms of visual expression and contemporary art.

Since 1999, Maleki has worked as a stage painter, while also developing a professional practice as a concept artist and storyboard designer for theater, cinema, and television.

In 2024, Nazli Maleki founded Toranj.Rang, an independent art brand that brings together painting and traditional hand-printing techniques.

The brand explores the intersection of fine art and everyday objects, applying original painted and hand-printed designs to bags and T-shirts.
